Login to admin panel goto Catalog => products and here add a new product by clicking blue + symbol button or edit any previously added product.

Once edit page is loaded, then click links tab and look for categories just bellow manufacturer.

In the category auto search field, please find the category name in which you want to show this product. Check screenshot bellow.
